The Texas Department of Emergency Management updating services available to the 2-1-1 data base.

The Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) is requesting any Health or Human Service Agency to call 211 and add services available to the data base.

This includes sheltering and warming stations.  This helps the State be able to track services and resources available, but most importantly it’s a central location to link those in need to services available.
2-1-1 Texas is a free, anonymous social service hotline available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
No matter where you live in Texas, you can dial 2-1-1, or (877) 541-7905, and find information about resources in your local community. Whether you need help finding food or housing, child care, crisis counseling or substance abuse treatment, one number is all you need to know.
Also call, 211 to update and change services available.
    Dial,  2-1-1, or  (877) 541-7905.
