Wienermobile Coming to Texarkana Event

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is heading to Texarkana for the second annual Waggin’ Wiener Run hosted by LNKTXK.

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is heading to Texarkana for the second annual Waggin’ Wiener Run hosted by LNKTXK.

The family-friendly event will feature weenie dog races for dachshunds, “Wiener-Be” races for other breeds, a hot dog eating contest, pet costume contest, face painting, live music, and pet vendors.

The event is set for Saturday, April 11, from noon to 5 p.m. at Hopkins Icehouse. Admission is free, and vendor proceeds will benefit the Texarkana Animal League.

Dog owners can register their pets online to participate in the races.
