Texarkana Texas Police have made two more arrests in the December 20th shooting of a 61-year-old man.
Police say 42-year-old Markevin Henderson and 17-year-old Xavier Morris were taken into custody Wednesday evening after officers spotted them in a vehicle on New Boston Road. Both were arrested without incident.
Investigators say the shooting happened in the 300 block of Robison Place after the victim answered the door and was shot multiple times. The suspects allegedly stole a small safe before fleeing.
The victim was taken to CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital in critical condition. A third suspect, Rickey Watson, previously turned himself in. All three remain in jail on $250,000 bonds. The investigation is ongoing.
