Two people are facing multiple charges following a dangerous police pursuit Thursday night in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Two people are facing multiple charges following a dangerous police pursuit Thursday night in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Police say the chase began around 7:20 p.m. after officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Arkansas Boulevard. The driver fled, reaching speeds near 100 miles per hour and traveling through city streets, residential areas and an open field.
The vehicle later crashed into a police cruiser and continued fleeing before eventually crashing into another vehicle on East Broad Street in Miller County.
Both occupants ran from the vehicle but were quickly taken into custody.
Thirty-nine-year-old Anna Reed of Monroe, Louisiana, and 47-year-old Kevin Martin of Maud, Texas, face multiple felony drug, fleeing and battery charges.
Both were booked into the Miller County Jail.
