Texas A&M University-Texarkana is joining a statewide effort to help younger students explore college and career opportunities.
The university is one of three schools expanding the Texas Rural Education Collaborative, also known as TREC, through the LevelUp Texas Initiative. The program focuses on students from kindergarten through eighth grade using hands-on learning and family engagement to introduce future education and career pathways.
Officials with the Texas A&M System say the goal is to increase access, opportunity, and stronger communities across Texas.
