A Texarkana woman accused of ramming two police cars and injuring an officer during an August 31st chase in Wake Village has been indicted by a Bowie County grand jury.
36-year-old Christa Michelle Latham faces two counts of aggravated assault of a peace officer, felony evading arrest, and a misdemeanor evading charge. Police say she fled a traffic stop while wanted for violating probation. The chase ended when she allegedly rammed two patrol cars, breaking one officer’s finger.
Latham’s been in jail on $430,000 bond and could face additional time if her probation is revoked. She’s set to appear before Judge Bill Miller later this month.
