Texarkana police on both the Arkansas and Texas sides are warning residents about a spike in vehicle burglaries.

They’re urging the public to lock cars, avoid leaving valuables in plain sight, and park in well-lit areas. If you have security cameras, review your footage and report anything suspicious.

Anyone who sees unusual activity is asked to call 911 or contact police directly. Officers say community awareness is key to keeping neighborhoods safe.
