A Texarkana man is behind bars after allegedly punching his sister and knocking out one of her teeth during an argument.
Police say 32-year-old Donny Ray Lloyd Jr. became angry and repeatedly hit his 35-year-old sister in the face at their home on Old Boston Road on October 29. Officers found the woman bleeding heavily and she was taken to a local hospital for surgery.
Lloyd was treated for cuts on his knuckles before being booked into the Bowie County Jail, where his bond is set at $100,000.
He’s charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, a felony that carries up to 20 years in prison.
