A Texarkana man is jailed on more than $100,000 bond after police say he assaulted and robbed two elderly victims following a minor crash in a convenience store parking lot.
According to court documents, 31-year-old Freddie Lee Miller allegedly attacked a 73-year-old man after a vehicle accident on Bowie Street March 24, stealing cash from the man before reportedly taking a 64-year-old woman’s purse from her car and fleeing the scene.
Police say surveillance video captured the incident. The purse was later recovered nearby, missing about $750 in cash.
Miller is charged with aggravated robbery.
