TexAmericas Center, home to one of the nation’s largest industrial parks, has added two new locomotives in a $3.15 million push to expand logistics and rail services. Funded in part by a $1.5 million Defense Economic Adjustment Grant, the upgrade replaces aging engines acquired in 2021 and strengthens connections for tenants, including those serving the Red River Army Depot. Officials say the locomotives will speed delivery times, improve efficiency, and attract new business to the park. TexAmericas Center is also planning new track, spurs, and sit yards to increase capacity across its Union Pacific Focus Site.
