A man charged in the shooting death of an Atlanta resident is set for a pretrial hearing November 3 in Cass County District Court.
James Tyler Griggs, 24, is accused of murder in the May 2024 death of DeVatae Robinson. Another suspect, 23-year-old Zachary Dylan Grissom, is also charged with murder and aggravated assault.
According to court records, Griggs allegedly fired an AR-style weapon at Robinson outside his home after a brief exchange of words. Griggs is currently out on bail. Both men were identified as suspects following multiple police interviews.
