Texarkana Arkansas Police are warning residents about a scam text message making the rounds.
The messages claim to be from Red River Credit Union, alerting recipients to pending charges and including a link to click for more details. Authorities say it’s a phishing scam designed to steal personal and financial information.
Police urge residents not to click the link, not to respond, and to delete the message right away. Anyone with concerns should contact Red River Credit Union directly. Suspicious texts can also be reported to your bank.
Police are asking the public to help spread the word to keep the community safe from fraud.
