The Texarkana Texas Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 46-year-old Gordon Lemons, who is wanted on multiple serious charges related to sexual assault.
The Texarkana Texas Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 46-year-old Gordon Lemons, who is wanted on multiple serious charges related to sexual assault.
Police say Lemons was arrested in July 2024 for aggravated sexual assault of a child and later released on a $150,000 bond. Just days before additional charges were filed in May 2025, investigators say he attempted to fake his own death and fled the area.
Authorities say he traveled to South Texas trying to cross into Mexico, but later received help from an ex-girlfriend, who has since been arrested for hindering apprehension.
Investigators believe Lemons may now be hiding in Hot Springs and warn he should be considered dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 903-798-3116.
