Man Found Shot to Death Inside Hope Home

An investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death inside a Hope residence early Thursday morning.

An investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death inside a Hope residence early Thursday morning.

Hope Police say officers responded to reports of shots fired around 4:30 a.m. in the 600 block of North Cedar Street. When officers arrived, they entered the home and found a man on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.

Emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Police say one person of interest is currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details have been released.
