The Lofts at the Grim in Texarkana, Texas, has received a 2025 Preservation Texas Honor Award. The recognition, announced last month in San Antonio, highlights outstanding work in historic preservation and community revitalization.
Planning and Community Development Director Vashil Fernandez accepted the award on behalf of the city. Officials say the honor reflects the teamwork and dedication behind restoring the historic Grim Hotel.
Congratulations were extended to Cohen-Esrey Development, Texarkana Grim Housing Partners, and all community members who helped bring the landmark back to life.
