Agents from the 8th South and 9th West Drug Task Forces, along with state and local departments, executed a search warrant at a home on Chapel Hill Street in Saratoga. Inside, they found fentanyl, meth, cocaine, and several firearms.
During the search, suspect Austin Hooks suffered an apparent overdose. Agent Garner of the 9th West Task Force quickly administered Narcan, saving his life.
Kataka Thomas, Tonya Stapleton, and Hooks face multiple drug and weapons charges. Authorities say the case highlights the continued danger of fentanyl and the importance of swift law enforcement action.
