Authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at Federal Correctional Institution Texarkana.

Authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at Federal Correctional Institution Texarkana.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons says 52-year-old Dixon Kelley the Third was found unresponsive Monday afternoon. Staff began life-saving efforts and called EMS, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kelley was serving a nearly 15-year sentence for bank robbery out of the Eastern District of Texas.

The FBI and United States Marshals Service were notified, which is standard procedure.
