Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank is thanking local law enforcement after one of its stolen delivery trucks was recovered.
The food bank says the Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department, with assistance from the Texarkana, Texas Police Department, used automated license plate readers to track the truck to Dallas.
Authorities recovered the vehicle along with thousands of dollars in inventory reportedly stolen from Stateline Fireworks.
Harvest officials say the quick recovery means the organization can continue delivering food to families across southwest Arkansas and northeast Texas, and they thanked all of the officers involved for helping them get back on the road.
