Texarkana, Texas police are investigating the city’s first homicide of 2025. Just after midnight Saturday, officers responded to reports of gunfire on Carroll Street. A 21-year-old man was found shot and died at the scene. A 52-year-old man in the home was also injured but is expected to recover. Investigators say multiple shots were fired into the house from the street before the suspect or suspects fled.
