After months of investigation, the 8th South Drug Task Force executed multiple search warrants on June 23rd in the 1600 block of Edward Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Officers seized about five pounds of marijuana, nearly a pound of cocaine, an ounce and a half of meth, two handguns—one reported stolen out of Redwater, Texas—along with drug paraphernalia and more than $600 in suspected drug money.
Several people were arrested, and officials say more arrests are expected. The task force says it remains committed to removing illegal drugs from communities in Texarkana, Miller County, and Lafayette County.
