Deadline Nears for SWEPCO Bill Assistance in Arkansas

The deadline for eligible SWEPCO customers in Arkansas and Louisiana to apply for federal energy assistance is September 30.

The deadline for eligible SWEPCO customers in Arkansas and Louisiana to apply for federal energy assistance is September 30.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP, provides crisis benefit funds in Arkansas for those facing disconnection and summer cooling funds for Louisiana customers. In Texas, LIHEAP applications are accepted year-round while funds last. Eligibility is based on household income, and more than 34 million families nationwide qualify for the program.
