A former behavior specialist at a Texarkana ISD alternative learning center is facing felony charges after allegedly assaulting a 13-year-old student last month.
According to a probable cause affidavit, 43-year-old Broderick McGraw was seen on surveillance video forcefully entering a room on November 11, pushing the student into a wall and breaking his glasses. Investigators say McGraw’s report of the incident did not match what was seen on the video.
McGraw was working as a behavior support specialist at the time. He faces two to ten years in prison if convicted and is currently free on a $75,000 bond.
