An Arkansas man has been sentenced to 80 years in prison for a deadly shooting in Texarkana.

An Arkansas man has been sentenced to 80 years in prison for a deadly shooting in Texarkana.

A Miller County jury found 19-year-old Tyrese Jefferson guilty in the August 2024 death of 17-year-old Marious Bradley, who was shot multiple times in the 2500 block of East 24th Street.

Jefferson received 40 years for murder and two consecutive 20-year sentences for unlawful discharge of a firearm.

The Miller County Prosecutor's Office credited responding officers and investigators for collecting key evidence and securing a confession that led to the conviction.
