A man convicted of seven counts of invasive visual recording has received a total of 14 years in jail.
37-year-old Jarrod Dee pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Bowie County Court to using a hidden camera to record a woman and her daughters.
Dee, a friend of the woman’s husband, had taped the camera to the underside of a bathroom cabinet in the couple’s home in December of 2021. Images of the couple’s 11-year-old daughter were recovered from the camera’s SD card.
Also recovered during the investigation were additional SD cards as well as printed nude photos of the woman and her daughters.
Dee has a prior conviction from Cass County in 2017 for recording a former girlfriend’s daughter in a similar manner.
