Hope PD posts arrest records for last week of January

The Hope Police Department has released information on arrests for the last week of January.

On January 24, 2023 at approximately 1:18pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Eliezer Reyes, 28, of Grand Rapids, MI. Mr. Reyes was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. The arrest occurred in the 2100 block of North Hazel Street in Hope, AR. Mr. Reyes was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On January 25, 2023 at approximately 9:45am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Maryana Perez, 19, of Hope, AR and Marquavious Monk, 19, of Hope, AR. Ms. Perez was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 2nd degree. Mr. Monk was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a family member and domestic battery in the 2nd degree. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of North Margaret Street in Hope, AR. Ms. Perez and Mr. Monk were taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On January 27, 2023 at approximately 11:54am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Christopher Weston, 43, of Hope, AR. Mr. Weston was arrested and charged with forgery in the 2nd degree and served a failure to appear warrant. The arrest occurred in the 2400 block of North Hervey in Hope, AR. Mr. Weston was taken into custody and transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
