A former sheriff’s deputy from Bossier City has pleaded guilty to the sexual assault of a fifth-grade girl.
94-year-old Otis Allen was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with eight of those suspended.
Allen will have three years of supervision once he is released.
There is also a permanent protective order barring Allen from any contact with the victim or her family.
The court has ordered Allen to pay $5,000 in restitution and register as a sex offender.
