A De Queen man has been killed after being hit by a train on Tuesday night.
According to police, 22-year-old Alton Tima crossed the tracks in front of the train around 9:30 p.m. Tima was on foot and was struck by the train’s engine. He was taken to the Sevier County Medical Center and was pronounced dead just after 11 p.m. Tuesday night.
