Authorities call off search for missing Vivian man

The search for a missing man from Vivian, Louisiana, has been called off.

22-year-old Michah Roberts was first reported missing by his family around 8 a.m. on Tuesday after family members say that he walked into the woods carrying his grandmother’s gun.

Multiple agencies from the area including the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Department, and K-9 groups from Shreveport and Texarkana joined in the search for Roberts over the last two days.

The search was called off last night after authorities say they have exhausted all efforts to locate Roberts and are unable to move forward with the search.

Roberts was last seen by his family wearing only a white t-shirt and white yoga pants before disappearing into the woods.
