Arkansas State Police, local sheriff’s and police officers are targeting distracted drivers with a “U Drive U Text U Pay” campaign the week of April 3-10.

Arkansas State Police, local sheriff’s and police officers are targeting distracted drivers with a “U Drive U Text U Pay” campaign the week of April 3-10.  Drivers in Arkansas are prohibited from using a hand-held cell phone for texting, typing or emailing while driving and the fine ranges from up to $250 for a first offense up to $500 for any subsequent offense.
